Dr. Yu-Speight is a board certified ophthalmologist. She went to veterinary school in Texas after receiving an MS in chemical engineering from Stanford. She completed an ophthalmology residency in Cornell, New York. She opened her own veterinary ophthalmology practice in Austin, Texas, in 2006 and sees many patients there. She has won numerous awards within her profession. She is also an ophthalmology consultant for VIN.
