Katharine has had a life-long dream of communicating with animals. After graduating as a veterinary technician from Algonquin College, she immediately started to shadow and later work with Dr. Wilson. She is passionate about Fear Free and has attained Elite Professional Certification. She is a certified trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy and has completed several other courses, including a hands-on course with Ken Ramirez and the Puppy Start Right course created by Dr. Kenneth Martin and Debbie Martin. She was a speaker at the OAVT conference in 2020 on several behavior topics and has also published articles on her own and with Dr. Wilson for the RVT Journal and CommuniVet.
